Not just the world's most famous New Year's street party, Edinburgh's Hogmanay is a 4 day festival with a packed programme for all audiences. Starting on the 29th of December each year, the festival is kicked off with a torchlight procession through the city, followed by a carnival style event on George Street on the 30th, followed by the 'big one' on the 31st - The Street Party. And if you're still standing on the 1st of January, there's a whole host of energetic events to start the new year with a bang.
