Tradfest is a new festival which will showcases the best of art, dance and storytelling with workshops, concerts and gigs for the whole family to enjoy.

A new festival, Tradfest, inspired by the traditional arts of Scotland, has been set up to replace Ceilidh Culture, taking place from 24 April - 6 May 2013 offering homegrown talent alongside acts from across the world.

The new festival will celebrate local, national and international arts and include music, stories, arts, crafts, dance and much more. Tradfest includes Scots and Gaelic showcasing the arts of Scotland’s diverse communities.

From museums to libraries and schools to bars, make sure you celebrate the traditional arts around Scotland’s capital.
