Scottish Mining Museum
This fascinating and fun museum houses the story of coal and mining in Scotland. The Lady Victoria is the last surviving Victorian colliery building in Europe, and features two floors of exhibitions, interactives, a film and photography archive and a Magic Helmet audio guide. Special tours by ex-miners along the coal road and at the coal face make the experience as real as it gets for all the family.
