One of Scotland's greatest cultural treasures, associated with the most dramatic events in Scotland's turbulent history.

Discover Edinburgh's oldest Royal Mile mansion - home of James Mossman, Catholic Goldsmith to Mary, Queen of Scots and final resting place of Scotland's controversial religious icon. The John Knox: Inside History exhibition highlights the 15th century building's beautiful craftsmanship and the stories of its famous inhabitants.

Now part of the Scottish Storytelling Centre, which includes a free permanent exhibition, cafe and bookshop and hosts an exciting programme of live storytelling, theatre, literature and visual art.
