Enjoy Edinburghs Tropical Paradise all year round with a visit to the World's longest running Butterfly House with hundreds of free flying butterflies in a large indoor rainforest. Journey through our paradise of jungle flora, waterfalls, fish ponds and bubbling mud swamp - you might even catch a glimpse of a tropical rainstorm! Marvel at the marching leaf cutter ant parade and come face-to-face with lizards, giant snakes, poisonous frogs, jumping locusts and glow-in-the-dark scorpions. Join us if you dare for our daily animal handling sessions at 12 noon and 3pm for your chance to handle a giant millipede, snake and a tarantula.
Our other exciting features include kids' treasure hunts, snake feeding, spider phobia workshops, seasonal Scottish honey bee display and our fantastic Jungle Gift Shop.
