Glenkinchie Distillery

null Glenkinchie- The home of the Edinburgh Malt- A short pleasant drive from the City Centre out into the rolling farmland of East Lothian. Here you can see a working distillery, the making of a capital malt in every respect. An exhibition of malt whisky is housed in the listed red brick building which was formerly the floor maltings. At the bar visitors receive a taste of the Glenkinchie Single Malt- it's dry clean taste is typical of the light Lowland style

Buses
No. 44B First Bus service, leaving at hourly intervals and at the weekend, 30 minute intervals. Disembark the bus at Pencaitland Village (at the petrol station/Spar Shop) and then it is an easy two mile walk to the distillery.
