A world class celebration of Scottish Culture in music, song and words performed by artistes from across the globe. This increasingly popular event, hosted in Edinburgh, showcases the best music, dance, poetry and storytelling around and is a great chance to enjoy some great Scottish traditions.
Although only in its 6th year, Ceilidh Culture is now a firm favourite on the world music calendar, so expect this year's event to be bigger and better than ever.
Programme highlights for 2008 include BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winner Julie Fowlis, Brooklyn born and raised songstress Kris Delmhorst and the vastly influential Billy Joe Shaver whose songs have been recorded by the likes of Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson.
