The 2007 Edinburgh Fringe Festival was bigger and better than ever! The award-winning shows and record audiences have made the Fringe 2007 a 1.7million ticket success!
With 1,697,293 tickets sold, the increase reflects a 10.8% increase on 2006 figures, with a 5% increase on ticketed shows in the same period.
2007 saw a mind-blowing variety of entertainment and a heady mix of new talent and established names. Highlights included Ricky Gervais Live at Edinburgh Castle, Craig Hill, Lucy Porter, Jason Byrne, Henry Rollins, The Ladyboys of Bangkok, The Foo Fighters, Razorlight, Happy Mondays, Interpol and Fuerzabruta.
