The largest celebration of the written word in the world, with over 700 events for all ages andtastes, takes place every year in the historic heart of Edinburgh. 2009 features a series ofspecial events offering a unique opportunity to celebrate and debate Scotland’s rich culturalheritage, in particular the importance of Burns and the great writers of the Scottish Enlightenment.
