Camping, caravanning and campervan enthusiasts will find themselves spoilt for choice by the wide range of well-equipped parks in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Whether you’re looking for a caravan and camping site near Edinburgh city centre or want to soak up the beauty of the region's surrounding Lothian countryside, you’ll find the perfect choice for you.

Nearly all of Scotland's roads are suitable for caravans, but please take advice from the road signs or the VisitScotland Information Centres which recommend that you do not take a caravan on certain roads. Lay-bys must not be used for overnight parking and local people are grateful if you pull into a passing place on single-track roads in order to let them pass.
